‘IBD on my Mind’ tool voor jongeren
‘IBD on my Mind’ is een tool die jongeren helpt met hun mentale gezondheid.
Jaarlijks krijgen zo’n 300 jongeren tot 18 jaar de diagnose IBD. Een derde van deze jongeren hebben hierna te maken met sombere gevoelens, depressiviteit, angststoornissen of andere zogenaamde psychosociale klachten. Hoe eerder duidelijk wordt dat een jongere hier last van heeft, hoe sneller hulp kan worden geboden.
‘IBD on my Mind’ helpt jongeren met IBD met hun mentale gezondheid. De tool bestaat uit vragen en adviezen. Ook maken vijf filmpjes met jongeren in de hoofdrol, deel uit van de tool. De filmpjes gaan over vermoeidheid, onbegrip, toekomst, acceptatie en lichaamsbeeld.
